Crispy buffalo pizza

What you will need:

Dough:

1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour

1 1/2 tsp yeast

1 teaspoon of salt

1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 1/2 cups of water

*Mix together dry ingredients and form a "well," in the center. Pour in olive oil. Add water by half cups while mixing together. Do not over mix, just enough to combine ingredients. Use hands to form a ball and let sit covered with a damp towel for 2 hours.

Toppings and sauce:

2 cups of rinsed chickpeas 

1 cup of buffalo sauce

1/2 cup of sautéed onions 

3 cloves of minced garlic 

Favorite pizza cheese (optional)

*Take dough out of resting spot and flour your flat surface. using your hand, a rolling pin, or a floured glass cup, roll out your dough to your desired pizza shape. Transfer dough to a parchment lined pan. Mix above toppings together, and spread out onto pizza. We use tomato sauce and cream cheese(kite hill) as our base. Top with your favorite cheese, and bake on 425 for 15-18 minutes. Top with your favorite dressing, we use, "Just ranch,"(follow link in header to purchase) and enjoy your pizza with a fresh salad!
